The Most Esteemed Family Order of Johore (Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat di-Hormati): founded by Sultan Sir Abu Bakar on 31st July 1886. Awarded in two classes (1. Pangkat Yang Pertama-DK or Grand Commander, and 2. Pangkat Yang Kedua-DKII or Commander).

The Most Illustrious Order of the Crown of Johor (Darjah Mahkota Johor Yang Amat Mulia): founded by Sultan Sir Abu Bakar on 31st July 1886. Awarded in three classes (1. Dato' Sri Paduka-SPMJ or Knight Grand Commander, 2. Dato' Paduka-DPMJ or Knight Commander, and 3. Setia-SMJ or Companion).

The Most Blessed Order of Loyalty to Sultan Ismail of Johor (Darjah Setia Sultan Ismail Johor Yang Amat di-Berkati): founded by Sultan Sir Ismail ibni al-Marhum Sultan Sir Ibrahim on 28th October 1974. Awarded in three classes (1. Dato' Sri Setia-SSIJ or Knight Grand Companion, 2. Dato' Setia-DSIJ or Knight Companion, and 3. Setia-SIJ or Companion).

The Iron Medal for Valour and Meritorious Conduct (Pingat Besi Kerana Keberanian dan Jasa): instituted by Sultan Abu Baker in 1894 and reformed by Sultan Ibrahim on 17th September 1958. Awarded in two classes (1. First class or Pangkat Pertama-PB I to reward acts of supreme valour, and 2. Second class or Pangkat Kedua-PB II to reward acts of bravery and life-saving. Further acts of bravery or valour may be signified by a small silver star worn o the ribbon.

The Iron Medal 2nd class.

The Sultan Abu Bakar Medal (Pingat Abu Bakar Sultan): instituted by Sultan Abu Bakar on 31st July 1886 to commemorate his assumption of the title and Coronation as Sultan of Johore. Later converted into a reward for merit and performance of valuable services to the Sultan and Royal Family. Awarded in a single class, a silver medal (PABS). Obsolete 1928.


The Medal for Long and Meritorious Service (Pingat Kerana Jasa dan Lama Dalam Perkhidmatan): instituted by Sultan Abu Baker as a reward for the members of the Johore Military and Volunteer Forces. Reformed by Sultan Ibrahim on 17th September 1923. Awarded in a single class, a silver medal (PJP).


The Medal for Long Service and Good Conduct (Pingat Kerana Lama dan Baik Dalam Pekerjaan): instituted by Sultan Abu Baker as a reward for the police and civil service. Reformed by Sultan Ibrahim on 17th September 1922. Awarded in a single class, a silver medal (PLP).

The Sultan Abu Bakar Medal (L) and the Medal for Long & Meritorious Service (R)

The Sultan Ibrahim Medal (Pingat Ibrahim Sultan): instituted by Sultan Ibrahim to commemorate his Coronation on 2nd November 1895. Converted to a general medal of merit on 17th September 1928, replacing the Sultan Abu Bakar Medal. Awarded in three classes (1. First class in Gold or Pangkat Pertama Emas-PIS 1, 2. Second class in Silver or Pangkat Kedua Perak-PIS II, and 3. Third class in bronze or Pangkat Ketiga Gangsa-PIS III).

The Sultan Ismail Star (Bintang Sultan Ismail): instituted by Sultan Ismail on 28th October 1977 and awarded in two classes (1. First class in Gold or Pangkat Pertama Emas-BSI I, and 2. Second class in Silver or Pangkat Kedua Perak-BSI II).


The Sultan Ibrahim Wedding Medal (Pingat Perkahwinan Sultan Ibrahim Johor): instituted by Sultan Ibrahim to commemorate his marriage to Sultana Helen Ibrahim on 15th October 1930. Awarded in a single class (silver).


The Sultan Ibrahim Diamond Jubilee Medal (Pingat Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim): instituted by Sultan Ibrahim to commemorate his Diamond Jubilee in 1955. Awarded in three classes (1. First class in Gold orPangkat Pertama Emas, 2. Second class in Silver or Pangkat Kedua Perak, and 3. Third class in bronze or Pangkat Ketiga Gangsa).

The Sultan Ismail Coronation Medal (Pingat Kemahkotaan Sultan Ismail): instituted by Sultan Ismail to commemorate his Coronation on10th February 1960. Awarded in three classes (1. First class in Gold orPangkat Pertama Emas, 2. Second class in Silver or Pangkat Kedua Perak, and 3. Third class in bronze or Pangkat Ketiga Gangsa).

The Sultan Mahmud Coronation Medal 1st class.

The Sultan Mahmud Coronation Medal (Pingat Kemahkotaan Sultan Mahmud): instituted by Sultan Mahmud to commemorate his Coronation on 11th May 1981. Awarded in three classes (1. First class in Gold or Pangkat Pertama Emas, 2. Second class in Silver or Pangkat Kedua Perak, and 3. Third class in bronze or Pangkat Ketiga Gangsa).
